Does anyone know of any natural remedies to help with sleeping,I am having health problems and because its causing me to worry a lot I can't sleep. The doctor has offered me sleeping tablets but from what I know about sleeping pills which isn't much I know they are very addictive after using for a short time and also your tolerance goes through the roof really fast so you have to take more to achieve the same result.
I have tried lavender oil ....a few drops on my pillow,camomile tea before bed and herbal pills called Sleep Well.
Any advice or ideas that could help will be really appreciated.

Have you tried meditating before bedtime to calm your mind before you lay down? When I have trouble sleeping I take myself to my favorite place in the mountains and lay on the lush green grass near the stream, I feel the sun on my face, hear the water running over the rocks and smell the grass, flowers and trees around me. This calms me greatly helping me to drift off to sleep. I visited Colorado as a kid and this memory is burned in my brain as my most favorite place. I love just going there in my mind and remembering it's beauty.
