These are really two different sub groups, but they are so closely related that I’ll put them under the same category. The likelihood is that if you are googling “twin souls” you belong to this group anyway so I’ll start with this. This is the most intense group of all of them, and they usually recognise each other straight away. Unfortunately, they are also the easiest to confuse because they are actually looking for their twin soul, either knowingly or unknowingly, and are likely to put that label on a wrong person because they so badly want it to be true.
Why I say there’s two sub groups here is that the emphasis is usually on one or the other; romance or sexuality. Both sub groups have both, but they put the emphasis on one or the other. The twin souls that are highly sexual, feel each other even more intensely from the start, where as the romantics need a little more time to get there – which makes sense of course. Both types will feel the sensation of the time slowing down, and everyone else around disappearing. They probably won’t hear anything around them for the few moments, and they get lost in each other’s eyes. The difference on the first encounter is that the romantics will feel a “pull” in their heart chakra primarily, while the sexual twins will feel it in the sacral chakra, primarily. The following sub groups are not really spiritual groups, but I want to make a point that having children (and separation from your twin soul) is NOT a requirement for having your twin soul in your life. It won’t make you more mature and “ready to handle the intensity” which is the reason I bring this up.
Add-on type 1: Parenting type
The twin souls, or in this case, individuals, who put a high value on having children, will typically fall into this category. This is THE CATEGORY that most twin soul descriptions talk about. These individuals want to eat their cake and save it too so to speak; they will have children with someone else and then typically find their twin soul after the children are old enough to fend for themselves a little – out of the way of their true passionate romance. Add-on type 2: “Childfree” twin souls
The generally ignored group; these twin soul pairs consider children an unavoidable evil (before we learned to use birth control) and to them, their relationship always comes first. They don’t wait to be reunited after children are old enough, but can find each other as young as they want and stay together. They may or may not have children together – if they are on mature soul age level, they will have children, but will never devote themselves to children the same way as parenting types will. Although using “childfree” here is not quite right, we use it because these twins would avoid having children altogether if they could.
