Sitting in meditation after having performed the banishing rituals of the pentagram and hexagram, with some Ditany of Crete or other earhly incense burning on the charcoal, imagine yourself floating in the darkness. Let your breathing be deep, slow and stready. Let yourself relax as much as possible.
Let yourself float gently downward, after a short while imagining a light far below you. As you sink further and further towards the light, let it expand into a black and white checkered floor. As your feet touch the floor, feel the coolness of the tiles on your soles. Let the Temple of Malkuth form around you.
Temple of Malkuth
The temple is square with yellow walls and a black and white checkered floor. In the center of the temple is a black double cubed altar. Sitting on top of the altar is a purple or blue quarts, glowing feintly with the Light of the Mysteries. Feel the life of the earth radiating therefrom.
The temple is arranged to face Eastward. A little ahead of the altar, and on either side of it, are the 2 pillars – the one on the right (South) is white, the one on the left (North) is black. Both are topped with red truncated pyramids emitting light.
There are 3 heavy wooded doors in the Eastern wall of the temple, with no handles and no locks.
The other walls are beset with circular stained glass windows. In the South (to the right) the image on the window is that of a lion surrounded by flames. In the West (behind you) the image is of an eagle flying off into the sunset, surrounded by blue sky. In the North (to the left) is a bull in a field of wheat.
Let yourself just sit in the temple for a short while, absorbing the earthly energy. You may wish to mentally chant ADONAI HA-ARETZ a few times.
When your ready, invoke (by calling their name) one of the following:
Sandalphon – archangel of Malkuth. Sandalphon appears in a flowing robe with large white or black wings folded behind him. He is very gentle, yet strong, and very very wise.
Auriel – archangel of Earth. Auriel appears as he does in the LBRP (green robe, black trim, holding sheaves of wheat).
The 4 Elemental Kings (each seperately):
Gob, leader of the Gnomes
Niksa, leader of the Sylphs
Peralda, leader of the Undines
Djin, leader of the Salemanders
… the Elemental Kings appear differently to different people, though almost always in the colors of their element. Sometimes they appear as one of their elemental type (ie: Gob almost always appears as a gnome King, Djin usually looks very fiery if not salemander-like, etc.)
The Ashim – the Souls of Fire – the Angelic Choir associated with Malkuth. They appear as living flames.
Whomever it is that you choose to invoke, ask them questions about their own natures, the nature of earth and/or Malkuth, and ask for personal advice concerning your own spiritual development. After you’re finished communing with them, thank them and bid them to depart to their habitations in peace (Sandalphon may stay in Malkuth), with the blessings of Adonai.
Spend a little more time meditating in the Temple of Malkuth, then let the temple fade around you. Bring yourself back to your physical body and record what you’ve experienced, then again perform the banishing rituals of the hexagram and pentagram.
