Sitting in meditation after having performed the banishing rituals of the pentagram and hexagram, with some frankincense burning on the charcoal, imagine yourself floating in the darkness. Let your breathing be deep, slow and stready. Let yourself relax as much as possible.
Let yourself float gently downward, after a short while imagining a light far below you. As you sink further and further towards the light, let it expand into a floor of pure gold, covered with sweet herbs. As your feet touch the floor, feel the coolness of the tiles on your soles. Let the Temple of Tiphareth form around you.
Temple of Tiphareth
The Solar Temple is a vast cathedral. The walls, of which there are six arranged in the form of a hexagon, are of white marble, inscribed in gold and yellow with scenes of sacrificed Gods from various traditions – Christ, Odin, Osiris, Dionysus and others. The ceiling is painted a pinkish rose color.
In the East, above, is a hexagonal stained glass window in which is depicted a white dove, flying downward, surrounded by golden solar rays. The sun is shining through the window, concentrated in a golden ray upon the altar in the center.
The altar is also of white marble, and has sitting upon it a golden chalice filled with red liquid which the ray from the window overhead illuminates. The grail glows even brighter in the light, and from time to time gives off a clear bell sound.
The pillars, like the altar, are of white marble and free from embellishments, save for two Hebrew letters. The letter Beth is engraved with gold on the left piller, and the letter Yod is engraved in gold on the right.
Eight golden doors lead from the temple in all directions, each bearing in white the Hebrew letter attributed to the paths they lead to.
Let yourself just sit in the temple for a short while, absorbing the Solar energy. Mentally chant YHVH ELOAH VE-DAATH a few times.
Once you are comfortable with the temple and have meditated within it several times, and after the image of the temple comes naturally and easily, you may begin the following exercises. Do only one of the following per meditation. You may wish to do a different exercise every time, or to work with each one for a specified period of time as appropriate.
Visualize a bright yellow sunburst above the altar. Feel the essence of the radient sunlight fill the entire temple, penetrating into the very core of your being. Visualize a white hexagram forming slowly around the sun, with the solar disc in the middle. Mentally vibrate YHVH ALOAH VE-DAATH numerous times while you contemplate the hexagram with the sun in the center.
Call forth Raphael, in his role as the Archangel of Tiphareth, to the temple. Mentally intone the Archangel’s name numerous times. Raphael appears in white robes with golden trim, and his robe bears the image of a unicursal hexagram on the chest. Raphael’s wings are white and unfold majestically behind him. Light streams from his countenance and the feint sound of a choir or gregorian style chanting can be heard in his presence.
Call forth the Melakim or Kings, the Choir of Angels which are associated with Tiphareth. These angels are protecting and healing spirits. They often appear as angelic forms with golden crowns.
If you choose to call forth Raphael or the Melakim, ask them questions about their own natures, the nature of the Solar sphere and/or Tiphareth, and ask for personal advice regarding your own spiritual development. After you’re finished communing with them, thank them and bid them to depart to their habitations in peace, with the blessings of YHVH ALOAH VE-DAATH.
Spend a little more time meditating in the Temple of Tiphareth, then let the temple fade around you. Bring yourself back to your physical body and record what you’ve experienced, then again perform the banishing rituals of the hexagram and pentagram.
