Sitting in meditation after having performed the banishing rituals of the pentagram and hexagram, with some Fiery or Martial incense (or a some dragons blood with a small amount of tobacco) burning on the charcoal, imagine yourself floating in the darkness. Let your breathing be deep, slow and stready. Let yourself relax as much as possible.
Let yourself float gently downward, after a short while imagining a light far below you. As you sink further and further towards the light, let it expand into a floor of hard red clay. As your feet touch the floor, feel the coolness of the tiles on your soles. Let the Temple of Geburah form around you.
Temple of Geburah
The temple is pentagonal, the walls, floor and ceiling made of hard red clay. The black and white pillars stand before you, mostly covered by red banners hung before them with the emblem of Mars displayed brazenly upon them in black.
The altar, a red pentagon, stands between the pillars. Centered on the altar is a red bowl carved from ruby, above it hovers a flame, from which a great feeling of power radiates outward. On one side of the ruby bolw is a scourge, on the other side a sword. Behind the altar hangs another curtain, this one is black and has a red pentagram displayed upon it.
In the East, South, SouthWest and West are black doors, each with a Hebrew letter etched upon it in red represented the path that it leads to.
The sound of distant war drums floats about the edge of your hearing, and the smell of tobacco fills the air. The temple is filled a with Martial Power, inspiring you to strength and courage.
Let yourself just sit in the temple for a short while, absorbing the Martial energy. Mentally chant ELOHIM GIBOR a few times.
Once you are comfortable with the temple and have meditated within it several times, and after the image of the temple comes naturally and easily, you may begin the following exercises. Do only one of the following per meditation. You may wish to do a different exercise every time, or to work with each one for a specified period of time as appropriate.
Visualize a large flaming sword above the altar. Imagine that it radiates power and restraint. After a few minutes let the image of the sword fade and visualize the form of an armored warrior in a horse drawn chariot. The figure bears a sword in one hand and is courageously rushing into battle. Mentally intone ELOHIM GIBOR while contemplating the powers of severity, desrtuction and restraint.
Call forth Kamael, the Archangel of Geburah, to the temple. Mentally intone the Archangel’s name numerous times. Kamael appears as a robust, masculine figure, dressed in red robes with green trim, a red pentagram on his chest. His wings are red and vibrant.
Call forth the Seraphim or Fiery Ones, the Choir of Angels which are associated with Geburah. These angels appear as winged serpents, each having six wings. The Seraphim are those who purify the soul by spiritual fire.
If you choose to call forth Kamael or the Seraphim, ask them questions about their own natures, the nature of the Martial sphere and/or Geburah, and ask for personal advice regarding your own spiritual development. After you’re finished communing with them, thank them and bid them to depart to their habitations in peace, with the blessings of ELOHIM GIBOR.
Spend a little more time meditating in the Temple of Geburah, then let the temple fade around you. Bring yourself back to your physical body and record what you’ve experienced, then again perform the banishing rituals of the hexagram and pentagram.
