When you window shop or browse for crystals you may find yourself attracted or drawn to one type of crystal. Similiarly to tools like the crystal ball or the tarot, it's the crystal energy that chooses you.
Sometimes it can be the other way round, but most often than not, the crystal gives you a sign like for example: You may find you keep going back to look at one particular crystal or there'll be a loud ringing noise which can either be subjective or objective, which is the crystal energy calling or you may find you cannot drag your eyes away from this crystal.
The crystal you keep looking at is calling to you 'pick me! Pick me! And you know that that crystal is the right one for this time. Before you go into the shop you can ask spirit to 'Please Guide me to the crystal that is right for me at this time. Thank you.' Trust that spirit will hear your request.
There are several methods in which you can use to get to know your crystals. One popular method same with the tarot is by putting the crystal beneath your pillow when you go to sleep.
Another method is by holding your crystal in your left hand and calmly say in your thoughts ' my name is (insert your name here). Welcome to my home. Please show me what your purpose is. You can ask the crystal 'please show me a sign or indication that you have recognized this request.' At this point you may also ask the crystal what method of cleansing it prefers by saying out loud or via thought 'Please let me know which method of cleansing you prefer'. Trust your first thoughts and feelings in relation to the answers that you seek.
Then let the crystal show you what it's purpose is. If you're going by feeling or by image, trust any first thoughts or feelings. If something doesn't sit right with you at any time – ask the crystal to stop and thank the crystal deva for its time and patience.
Recenter yourself by focusing on your solar plexus chakra and see all your energy returning back to you.
