A couple of notes on crystals.
Amethyst
The first crystal tonight we will be working with is amethyst. Amethyst dates back from the times of Ancient Greece, it has been around for centuries. Amethyst aids in concentrating with healing abilites and communication with spirit guides and higher self. Amethyst also is a good stone for working with the third eye. It promotes peaceful sleep to the person it is friends with should they place it beneath their pillow. Amethyst used to be originally a crystal used to clear feelings intoxication and influences of an alcoholic nature.
Amethyst is also a very protective crystal who if you ask it to do something by placing intent into the stone, it will oblige. Amethyst likes to be cleansed by full moonlight and a warm water bath. But every stone is different and may prefer different methods of cleansing. Amethyst is also a crystal which can be used to connect to Gods and Goddesses as derived from its well known history. Amethyst is a member of the quartz family, its closest relation is ametrine which is a stone compiled up of ametrine and citrine.
Working with crystals is a beautiful gift to be blessed with. Getting to know your crystal energy is quite easy to do once you're connected. One way of tuning into your crystal energy is by holding your crystal within your hands and letting it get used to your aura energy. Another way of getting to know your crystals is by placing them beneath your pillow as you sleep. Or by talking to them, singing to them or by simply being around them.
Once you've held them in your hands, hold it in your left hand, the receiving one which is closest to your heart. Place your intent by saying to yourself and the crystal 'I ask that you help me with ….' and could you please let me know that you have heard me by giving me a response.

Rose Quartz
Rose quartz is a rose coloured stone connected to the heart chakra. Its qualities are to send out healing and love to heart related issues and relationships. Rose Quartz is a stone for unconditional love. Rose quartz prefers the water method for cleansing, reiki energies and sunlight energies to recharge. Rose quartz always works with the love and light, if you are having heart related issues, you can visualise rose quartz being placed on your heart chakra, this action will bring an inner sense of peace which you can allow to fill your entire being.
Rose quartz properties focuses on the heart chakra area and it is considered to be a healing crystal.
Each rose quartz will tell you or show you what its purpose is for working with you. Simply hold the crystal in your left hand, and ask for it to show you what it can do.
